That's what I'm wondering. I would literally be embarrassed to put anything on the rollers with under 750whp or so at TX2K.

The dyno day for TX2K14 will once again be at Lonestar Motorsports Park (www.lonestarmotorsportspark.com) The dyno day event will be a little different than years past. Over the last 2 years we've seen a higher number of low whp cars take up the dyno's. In an effort to put on a show, this year, we are implementing a new rule/strategy. There will still be 2 dyno's that will be going at the same time (one is an AWD dyno and one is a standard dynojet), Anna Costas will hold the dyno list...sponsors will get priority for dyno time. However, if your car makes LESS than 425 whp SAE corrected (dynojet) and 425 awhp corrected (using the awd dyno), you will be charged $50 for 3 pulls. That means if you make 424.99 whp you are paying $50. Any money collected from those that failed to meet the minimum threshold will be paid out to the "highest whp" winner at the end of the day. If you make over 425 whp, there will be no charge to dyno, as always, it'll be free. Aside from sponsors, first come first serve to dyno.

Keep your slow shit at the house or pay in other words lol.

Good thing CPS charges regardless, If we had a 425 hp rule of any kind around here the dyno would collect dust.

Redline Performance tried that, once...

I spun a main bearing on my second run at the roll race on tuesday. Luckily we had a spare proline 4.0 longblock in the trailer. Motor swap was done in a rented garage and 40 hours later the car was returned to me re-tuned running stronger than ever.

Best time tuesday was a 9.01@164 with a 1.86 60 foot. Needless to say track prep sucked. Rained out Saturday and Sunday

will be getting that 8 second slip soon

Got beat in the second round of the dig race by a promod carmao that runs 5.80s on motor plus he sprayed it with a 250 shot. He got me by 1 car out of the hole and 2 at the line. Was sketchy as hell but a good/fair race

video i found from the dig race

This might be more info than you're willing to give out, but how does that work? I can't imagine how much that motor costs, and then first event out it spins a bearing? Did you have to pay for the new motor?

Did you get any "Mexico" runs in?

the motor that spun was almost 2 years old. Have been running that motor since i put modified turbos on the car more than 20,000 miles ago

I paid zero in labor, cost for parts on the new block and got fair credit for the block and other parts that came out of the car.

Had a little fun in mexico. It was wet all week and i had a few hairy moments early in the week that opened my eyes up to what was going to happen with the "Mexico Runs". Luckily only one biker lost his life, next year will be a lot worse
