I bet you must get tired of all the people rubber-necking when they pass by that majestic fleet of yours!

Roadcone, they sold them here in 1988 and 1989, and the fleet isn't mine. The other 2 in the background were other junkyard finds by the other guy that likes these cars.

No, not in Beaufort, are you crazy? The other guy is in Delaware, where the top picture was taken.
And the "attatchment" I have is that they are different. Everyone has a Mustang, or Camaro. No matter what you do to them, someone has done the same thing. With my car, its much easier to "personalize" it, without copying someone else. I just like different. Ive owned a 71 Pinto, and a 90, 93, and 94 Taurus SHO, and have gotten asked the same questions for them. |

I remember working on the Merkur models back in my Ford dealership days. Neat cars for sure at their time, but today's technology blows anything from that bygone era away now.
I will say one thing about the Merkurs back in the day, the ride quality and handling was very German like when compared to the rest of the Ford line at the time. The Scorpio was kind of unique in that it had the 2.9L Ranger V-6 in it, but with a double blade throttle body. That car didn't even dive when jamming on the brakes from 80-0mph.
