We have been talking for the last 3-4 years that we wanted a jeep for our next vehicle...her biggest concern was how rough the ride was gonna be so we went to test drive some and drove one home.

Beautiful! We love our 11 Wrangler! It actually is a great drive, good vision, easy turn radius. Wife's 3rd Jeep.

we absolutely love this thing...got a few more bells and whistles than I wanted but it was for her so I didn't press the issue...came with the upgraded touch screen head unit with built in navi, voice control and blue tooth phone connection, sat radio, she wanted an auto since she works downtown...i wanted the 6speed...she won....she wanted interior something other than black but apparently that is rare so we went with cloth seats over leather with the idea that black leather baking in the sun wouldnt feel to great...it has Dana44 front and rear axles with front and rear lockers, sway bar disconnect, hill assist/descent, rock slider rails...all in all more than we need but the stuff is there just in case...i have some friends that do the uwharrie trail in NC and feel more than capable to tag along...
Shane have you done anything to your '11? and little mods that are worth it until the warranty runs out? |

a guy at church bought one of these last week, and a buddy bought two last night, at Hoover instead of Hendrick (that looks like Hendrick near Otranto), they must be nice!!
we had a RUL when they first came out, with the 4:10's and in line 6. AWESOME vehicle. just too cool. MPG was pure misery though will she have the hand strength to put up the top & up & down without you? my wife wanted to drive it to work with top up (not muss hair) then drive home with it down, but she could not get the old style top open & closed a little FB birdie told me someone else has a new car today? why no pics?

My mom has an 07 with the 3.6. The tcase was Leaking and fixed under warranty. My dad replaced the egr valve. Now its having an issue with the multifunction switch turn signals and head lights work erratically. I think it has around 60k miles and is going to need tires soon.
She likes it and I guess it hasn't had too many problems.

absolutely love it...had zero issues with it so far...and the mpg isnt horrible...gets 16-17 city and 17-18 hwy...figure better for non rubicon models...only thing ive done to it is install a receiver and hitch...we did take the rock sliders off and I found a good deal on some sahara side step...wife is short so she wanted them...theyll work until I buy some integrated step/sliders...too damn expensive to lift...lift means new tires...new tires mean new rims...so ill worry about that when these tires wear out
