Also, I just got done checking and test driving this one:
http://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/4598078928.html ![]() Body and interior was in great shape, except for the cheap gauge pods everywhere falling off their mounts. The engine seemed to be in good shape, but the tranny grinded when going into any gears. Like the clutch cable wasn't adjusted right, or someone fucked the clutch install. And, GODDAMN, I remember clutch cable car's clutch pedals being stiffer, but FUCK. Something was wrong with this one. It took all my strength just to press the clutch in. Even the owner couldn't' press it in well or shift right without grinding gears. It had a 2.8 pulley on, and the car seemed slower than it should be. My old cammed LS1 Trans Am seemed to faster. The owners AFR gauge was broke at the time, and I didn't have time to get my scanning equipment or my LM2 hooked up to check out the tune. The current owner said the previous owner stated it had around 600 HP to the wheels. LOL. Current owner guesses it closer to around 550. Bwhahaa. Guess that should have been my first clue. That was the first Terminator I ever drove, and it's made me want a Vette, even if it's a C5. I hope the next Termy I'm going to test out, which seems like an even more beat on one, doesn't have as stiff as a clutch pedal. Here's the next one I got lined up to look at, Higher mileage and more beat up, it seems: http://greenville.craigslist.org/cto/4602141222.html Last edited by ASCII_Porn; 08-14-2014 at 03:13 PM. |

I'm pretty sure thats the car we worked on. It's low on compression if so and doesn't run well. Clutch is hard as hell to use as well.
