Seen that myself this past weekend. I was mad because I didn't have my camera out. I am glad someone got the video.

Got the win light and runner up for the season. The guy that one Coyote stock this year won EVERY ROUND he competed in this year. Was undefeated the entire season.

just read the rules for that coyote stock class. seems to be about the cheapest way to run NMRA. might could build one for about 15k

If a person had basically any fox chassis with good suspension parts already you could build one cheaper than that.

I think those are dog eared 5 speeds with out sencros, and they only use the clutch at launch and just pull gears from there. Its a fun class for sure..

i was thinking about brad reading this thread. figured he could swap his car over if he wanted. but, like most other "stock" classes, there is gonna be some money involved. that and the coyote motors are still going for major coin last i heard.

crate engine runs about 6500, then you need the ford engine control pack that is about 1500. Then all the other little things and you can probably get in a car having fun in that class for 10-11k on a budget.

The crate engine and engine management and spec tune probably kill it. Still seems "cheap" like chump and lemons.

I would figger more like 15k in the car alone. Then add the 8k engine and 4k+ worth of trans stuff.
