Default Been a bit, got red back to the 1/4. 9s on boost!

Copied from my PT.net post as i'm a lazy SOB. Going to try to get a clean pass in next weekend still off the Pretty excited about the new best 1.45 60!

I wanted to go 9s on boost with this girl. I got it done, but there a lot more left. After a day of small issues to include a broken computer screen, I managed to get 1 decent pass in, but still had a shifting issue. Log confirmed it, with a 6400@117 MPH second gear shift. (my 2nd hits the limiter of 7200 at around 110) So I did 1-3-4 9.91 pass.

Anyways, nailed a 3500 2-step with around 10-11psi, damn thing felt awesome. Truck is same weight at 4580, only took a little off the rear struts. Same Cal-trac setup and 295 m/t DR's.

Video's inside and out, with a couple pics of my buddy Nicks truck that was running strong at 11.1 on a stock 5.3. :usa:

That is not bad. Not bad at all. Oh yeah, thats right. Its a truck HOLEEEEYYYY SHIT dude that's moving! If you could get some weight out that would be a friggin rocket. But I bet its still a ton of fun at the weight it is.

Thanks guys, Id like to see what it does with a clean pass. I'd expect to pick up 2-3mph out the back as it sits and a couple 1/10s. I just need to nail another 60 like that to match it with.. I'm starting to be believer with more tweeks and a another psi or two or a faithful 50 pill back on a a 9.5 could be within reach.. Maybe. Lol

BOOOYYYAAA!!!, still 9's! I wonder if it could be the shifter not getting it into 2nd? looks like you almost had the shifter through the dashboard!

Haha, yeah i'm actually going to inspect all the linkage stuff on the 80 before next time out. That was a damn good 60 that got away. It's got about 50k miles on that B&M megashift, original cable as well. I missed 3rd gear the day before at Bowman.

Anyone know life span of these items? I'm guilty in saying it's never been taking apart and lubed. =/

ditch the megashifter. they are cool in their own way, but once you use a good shifter you'll realize what you've been missing.
btw the truck is still bad as hell.

That's one thing that sucks about going manual valve body.
