Default The Phonaro Racecar Project

Its much nastier then it used to be.

Aiming to be 3000lbs race weight with cage on 285wide heavy RE-11s on all corners.

Weight before starting the project; roughtly half tank of gas with driver. OEM skidplate, gastank, gas tank bracing, OEM HVAC/AC, OEM sound deadening, etc, etc.

Cutting out a bunch of sheet metal including spare tire well. (It will get a fuel cell between the rails.

HVAC was massive

Until you smack your head on that 99pt roll cage and have to drink out of a straw a 1/4 mile at a time.

Believe it or not but I have inches more headroom in everyday way compared to OEM. The roof support was removed so the main hoop sits up way high and the a pillars also are tucked up way high.

As long as I always ride around strapped in I will be fine.

I know you love the negative attention but I'll bite. Using that as a daily is just stupid.
