if big block car has to run small block car
small block car gets the break

it might work for the light cars, not going to work for 5k lb trucks.

nobody gets the break. small blocks are just as fast as big blocks nowadays.

if you wanted to do a race for THIS website then i would say tags and insurance, DOT tire and pump gas.

The pump gas part would throw out several of the people who would probably like to race, so make these the rules:

Tags and insurance
DOT tire
Stock Suspension

Everybody throw $25 in the pot, no qualifying, pairings by drawing, head up, sportsman tree, winner gets 75% of pot, runner up gets 25%.

Ok I'm not new to the drag racing thing but I'm more of a casual racer. Could somebody explain this proposed race further and easier?

if it's gonna be a street car race, stock supsensiion should be the first rule. (Robert, I know why you don't like that rule, but a street car race is SS)

Multiple stages is still only one power adder.

I say allow multiple power adders though so that the Lightning guys who have blowers and nitrous still have a chance.

If you REALLY want to make it a street car shootout, make it a true street tire, no drag radials.

haha i know you no haha. Where i got this idea from was old cooper river had these races im talking about not the ones lowcountry had. but old cooper river. The rules were as follows. RUN WHAT YOU BRUNG Format
As long it was liscenced and insured
Had DOT Tires
Any Engine Combo
Had to drive in the gate
Head lights tail lights brake lights
Factory Int.
Im not worried about making a race i can win i got a lightning i can go get anytime i want if youre trying to throw me out of the race im trying to get started
