All Fords are welcome. Does not have to have 8 cylinders.

He knows. Just every show he goes to a "v6" wins because of the "who you know or who you blow" type voting. lol Ignoring the fact of how clean and spotless his vehicle is. And he has "shiny" crap to help attract the car show voters like a bass to the perfect lurer.

Im an LCMC member. The cars in the show are judged and not voted on. Real judging takes place by an experienced Mustang Club of America judge and judging sheet. Points are deducted from every catagory listed, then tabulated out of the possible total score for your class of vehicle. Judging is very strict, and yes cleanliness is top priority in keeping all the points you can.

Yes it was a very good show with great weather.

Hence Chillerman as to why I am out of it.... too many shows running under MCA rules of judging which ruins it for us commoners without Mustangs. It sucks because there are only 11k of mine and there are ... how many Mustangs ? All MCA judging does is punish the daily drivers and alienate the Mustang crowds from the rest of the world...

The judging does take into consideration of the daily drivers. There is always the expectation of normal wear & tear on the vehicle. You would have had the only Gran Marquis at the show. Your car is nice and would have showed well.

Thats why I stay away from car shows around here. Not to offend anyone, but judging new cars by their cleanliness is a joke. They should look good they are new cars. Now a 65 Mustang that looks like it rolled off the show room is impressive and show quality..

A Ford Crown Victoria....

Oh, and some more insight into revealing how ignorant MCA judges have been, I was deducted points for having "non-standard" rims on my MERCURY MARAUDER. As many in this region know ( both bowtie and blue oval ) the rims on my cars where installed AT THE FACTORY in Saint Thomas, British Columbia, Canada. I appreciate their infinite wisdom on Mustangs, but to show their narrow-mindedness to not even look at promotional literature on my cars and realize what rims they came with...it just shows that they can stay in their tiny box with the multitude ( millions ) og Mustangs out there. I will stay in my really big box of only 11,052 ... See yah at Jackson-Barrett !

They just figured you had a crown vic sporting 18's. They were probably trying to figure out what the little man on the center caps and seats were also. They proabaly thought you put a profile of your own self on the seats and center caps, with a funny hat on.

Its the most expensive Crown Vic I ever purchased. You know when we sold my wifes Marauder she wouldn't sell the leather jacket with the car. She said it was the most comfortable jacket she has. Leave it to a woman...
