Greg, dont want you to think i'm dogging you. you can drop 5 grand rebuilding a stock engine. by being a carefull shopper you can spend 5 grand and have a 600 hp engine that will put you over 100 mph in the 1/8th.

see, you dont have the pistons and thats the only thing that matters. the rod stays the same in most cases. i'm sure you can buy a crank and off the shelf pistons and have the shit next week.

my heads probably wouldnt do that good on a 4xxci motor i could order a 4in stroke crank for my motor and have a 383 but why spend a grand and gain 20-30hp
