yeah, Ace, since you are working & trying, if you need a place to do some work, just post up.

since you are working to better yourself, we will help you along.

but you gotta buy the pizza

we always had guys up to house when we were active duty, putting in stereos and stuff, long as they bought supper, we worked till they were done.

one guy stayed till 3am putting stuff in. we went to sack ~11:30, left him out there.
wife had cooked good supper, put leftovers in fridge,
he ate ALL the left overs ~2am to recharge his battery.

Steven Manes, IIRC, was a good guy.
LOL, I think we are related. seems as if we are, I'm pretty sure I've known lxtasy all his life.

As per Ace, I just think he is just trying to be humorous.

we can just push it to the garage side of the house in front of the boat and leave it there all weekend...lol but lets make sure the neighbor has company over from her church group or tupperware party's.

I believe I talked with you for a while Saturday night Ace, I was the guy bitching about DSM's lol. Hell I'll run you for shits and giggles, I know for a fact you'll annihilate me so it might not be worth your time but I really don't care, I just enjoy driving I'm still on break-in boost, only about 17 psi, but I'm down for a friendly run
Definitely man, friendly runs rock. If it don't rain Saturday after Halloween, meet me at K-Mart and we'll go over some lil details to make it a closer race. Car guys should be like instead of

Thanks tons, that sounds sweet. And fuck, I'll cook us somethin better than pizza. Another hobby of mine, way cheaper than racing, haha.

Sounds good man, and yes I'm more about being friendly and having a good time than nut-swinging and dick-measuring.

Ya, But this is an 85' stock motor no nitrous 125,000 mile car. Not down grading the ability of the Z. Just saying there is nothing special about it. My only advantage would be running at the track or possibly on the lights. If you want to, I'll run ya. Not looking to loose or possibly win alot.

Worth a try, with gettin the carlengths right. Maybe we'll give it a practice run and then decide on how many lengths from that, try to make em fairly equal. I love close races. What speed to what speed do you wanna try? Or maybe a set distance?

Same deal here. Most I can afford is about $100, but I'm not one to scoff at anything lower. And just for fun is cool too.

Figure get a pass or 2 on each car, set some dials up to space em out right, should be good. Mine needs some practice passes, for both getting used to the track and double checking the car's health. Don't wanna lose and pay for a stupid broken U-joint. Or a tow home from there

They are both street cars, just run em and be done. No need for testing. If it drove to the track then whats there to test?

Yeah, I guess so. I mean, Dorchester looks like the street might even hook up better. A pass on mine cleans any carbon in the cylinder from my rich ass idle circuit. A Holley 650 doesn't have the fuel distribution that EFI has. Whether it's just luck, or if my thinking is correct, my first pass at the track is always the slowest of the day by a tenth or so. Plus I get a good heat cycle in the car, and mine likes that for whatever reason.

clear it out a million times like the other cars do. Or get the carb tuned a little better.

Hey, how do you think I start it on a cold day? Choke's broken, so rich idle it is. Race cars get towed to tracks, and never drive to work, park in parking garages, or go through automated car washes. Now who's got a street car?
