He's actually running AEM on the car.

6262 is a good turbo, a buddy of mine has it on his 2gb GSX, that shit hits HARD, but it's too big of a turbo for a 2.0 if you ask me, unless you have a ridiculously worked head and high compression.

There's lots of good options out there as you know, the 6262 is just kind of the "hot new item" if you know what I mean. Although STM is running it on Ricer, and Emery knows his shit and then some, so I know that turbo has more capability than a lot of people may think...

the big thing is people/companies are not releasing turbo maps... so its kinda hit and miss.. its more speculation..

doing a paper build is semi esential so ur notl eft chasing ur tail and missing odds and ends.. also allowed u 2 finish instead of keep switching..

their is allot of new technology out their.. a few is still waiting in the mix.. tial has some nifty stuff.
bw has their extended tip technology.. blouch has thir custom billit stuff.. along with pte and percission.. billit wheels is the new craz and rightfully so..

their has been some really good things with ecu as well.

the haltec s2000 pro is sex
aem v2 is out
aem fic is a great piggy back
mapecu2 is stout
their is a few others.. things are always popping up and it makes it hard to have the newest hot thing that works because its so frequent anymore.

Very true, and I definitely agree with you about Tial, if I had some $$ I would definitely pick up one of the Tial housing turbos.

This is where my noobishness shows, when you say AEM v2, do you mean just regular AEM? And why do you say it is out? I really am just curious, because there are a lot of imports running AEM and going extremely fast, look at Jeff Bush with English Racing using AEM on his 1g 8 second auto.

There is a new version that some shops have and are doing testing with them.

it is still like the aem...

it is the new v2.. the interface is a little diffrent. a bit more user friendly..
it is a black box.. not silver.. the firmaware/prosessors are top notch..

i have not had much time on the new v2...

but i have played with the haltech s2000 pro... and it was omg sex..
proably one of the nicest most user friendly unit/software i have played with.
hear is the new s2000 pro screanshoot..

i will see if i can get one up of the aem ems v2
hear is a video on youtube that goes over some new stuff on the v2
