No... what if you need to take the pinstripe or dealership sticker off of a car and you don't want to gouge the clear?
I have 4 years of auto detail under my belt... I know the tricks.

You can use dental floss, plastic squeegee, plastic razor blade which is like the plastic squeegee or fishing line. all will remove the emblem. for removing pinstriping and other graphics I have a vinyl removing wheel that will not harm the paint.
For the glue you can use "goof off" but in a very well ventilated area. Or you can use adhesive remover thats found in the sign industry too. I have all of the above.

I have always used 3M adhesive remover. Also works great on removing VHT/rubber off of the quarter panels.

It was nice to have access to a steam powered pressure washer at hendrick, now I have to get down and dirty and do the same...
