I tell you what Magnum P.I.- Figure out the date of the offer and the date the car was listed. What you will find is that the offer came before the ad. I listed it for the reason I gave you about 10 post ago. Not necassarily to sell it, but to see if there was interest from more than one person at that dollar amount. You can keep digging, but I promise you do not know what I have going on in my head better than i do. And BTW- it's not a settlement when you sell a car. If you didn't want to sell it. You would not have placed the ad!

First of all I wasn't "telling everyone" and it wasn't several threads- it was one. You are right , you aren't Magnum PI after all. Let me spell this out for you one more time: 1. Someone saw pictures of my car and tracked me down through Sheppard Race Cars. They called me, asked how much money it would take to buy my car. I told them $100k, $110 with all spares and extras. 2. Two weeks later he called back and said he wanted it, needed to get his money right and we would speak after the first of the year. 3. I couldn't decide if i wanted to let it go- it was the right price, but I really didn't want to sell it. I continue to speak with the gentleman on a regular basis. 4. I put the ad on RJ to see if there was more interest in this economy for a car in that price range. The reason I did that was to see if I could pass this offer up and then possibly sell it later OR did I need to take this offer because this particular person was the only BUYER out there right now. 5. I still haven't decided. Now, I hope that is clear enough. Quite frankly, unless you have $110,000 to spend on a race car you are worrying about it a little too much. |

For $110,000 the car is for sale. For $35,000 my truck is for sale. For $35,000 my wife's ride is for sale. For $800,000 my house is for sale. For $15,000 my trailer is for sale. For $1500 this computer I am typing on is for sale. For $1500 you can buy my fridge. For $1700 I will leave the food in it. For $100 I have a $20 bill for sale. For $5 you can buy the boxers that are hugging my nuts. If any of those things interest you for those prices, let me know. Everything is for sale for the right price, with or without a for sale ad. If you are not interested, STFU. |

No not tomorrow. I am going to make a couple changes before going back out. Tighten convertor, need to change driveshaft sensor, change rear springs and re scale car, send turbo back to get billet wheel put in and put those new 295/55/15's on.
Or I might sell it. Not sure. But i do want to get back out soon and watch you guys. I like to watch your car, I really like 1Iron's car, all the lightnings are really impressive to me and I would like to check out Chris's car with his new setup. Seems like it's been forever since I have been to the track. |

According to Bowman's website (duhhh!!! the same one I set up for them
) lists the track as being 1920' long. I was way off with the google earth crap.

I know they have had some fast cars on the track but it's alot easier to stop a 2300lb 4.00 car than it is to stop a 3300lb 4.80 car. My car stops great with or without the chute but a little room for error is nice. |
