I think this could be alot of fun if everyone would relax a little and just have a good time. The rules are there, but I think everyone is capable of being reasonable and knowing what is pushing it, and what isn't.

I look forward to watching from the fence.

So where's your 7 sec timeslip? Your shit hasn't been to the track since the new setup. besides, you have to drive, no driver mod allowed.

The car may be able to go 5's but the driver can only go 8's. GMFG

It should be entertaining to watch/compete for sure. I was just stirring the pot a little to get things exciting and draw some attention.

You can take me off the list if we are racing at bowman. I dont want to drive my car to BFE and then beat the shit out of it like a remount road hooker. And then drive it back from BFE. Towing isnt cheap from that far out.

91notch...all kidding aside, even with the true street rules you suggested, a car like Wes' would still be legal to run, or should I say kill everybody else on the list. If he and Steve Jackson want to come out and kick our asses, then by all means, I'd love to see it.

What I'm saying is that no matter what rules you have, someone COULD show up with a combo set on kill and clean house. But the fact is that noone with a car of that caliber is gonna do that for a race like this.
Just for example, why eliminate Kenny Mcdonald from racing in this deal? From what I gather, he has a big tire back half car that is more of a street car than a lot of people's stock suspension cars.

Alright, I'm tired of arguing. I haven't been on the track yet this year so I'm getting very anxious to get this thing started and have some fun.

I'm excited to see how this new list will work out. Thanks to Ray, Larry, and Chip for putting this thing together, and also to all the sponsors. Hopefully we get to some good races.

Just remember this is all for fun.

I just saw the new rules. I only have a problem with one. We havent had carpet in the car in years. I do have carpet for it but havent wanted to put it in it. Because it has holes in the floor and we do drive it in the rain. I can throw it in the back when we race if that would be OK.

You're going to need to put carpet in the car if you want to run the TDL. Some universal carpet for the auto parts store is cheap.

So slicks are good but carpet is an issue? That car is a street car period. How about no big blocks over 420 ci. and just need registration and insurance.
