Well by the time I mill them down to just get back to stock compression~.030, theres hardly enough ptv clearence with that big ass valve to run a 22x/23x cam. And even then its gonna be a turd because of the barely stock compression vs stock, milled 243 head. If I had piles of money around i'd see how the square ports work on a stock bottom end ls2 since ive got a set here, but I really dont wanna do a head swap twice if im not sure theyre gonna work as well as something else.

at least 104 at 3300lbs right? if he is lighter than that, which I think is possible, then the MPH would have to be higher
Not sure on the MPH, but I know his quickest motor pass was a 6.38 and I think his race weight is 3100 lbs.

He may be able to chime in on the mph.

EDIT: MPH was 105

I've talked to a number of different cam and head guys across the country about what i wanted to do and the general consensus was if you're staying with a baby cam meaning under a 224 then the LS3/L92 will make more power... beyond that Cathedral ports make more power everywhere. I would say it'd be cool to see LS3 heads on a large bore motor like an LS7 but why bother when you have an LS7 head that will make more power everywhere again...

On a stock sleeve, most won't go beyond 3.905.

I think the stars just aligned on that pass, it normally goes mid .4x at the same mph, it's a nitrous converter and all too.
