The 4 lb lower should allow you to open them up to .036 and still be ok.
On the 8 thread heads the torqueing(sp) down is not as important, I have not seen anywhere anybody has had any trouble with the 8 thread head spitting the plugs. On ours we put a little lube on the threads and tighten. Hope you get it running soon.

I have mine set at .035 with the 6# and the port.
.036 should do you fine with a 4# |

Now I feel like a jack ass. I was out there trying to get a little something done. Then I found the crankshaft sensor tooth wheel just laying under a bunch of parts. Now for the people that dont know. That goes behind the timming cover. That I allready have on. DAMN-IT!!!! @#$$$$%@*&. OH well.

No. Its been so hot I havent worked on it mutch. I took the timmimg cover back off and put that timming ring back in. then put the cover back on. It wasnt hard but I about drowned in sweat. Its not sopose to so hot this week end maybe Ill get somewere. |

How did it run at .038? better, worse, or no difference? That's what I used to run before I put nitrous on my truck. I lowered it to .032 with the nitrous. (although I should of went to a colder plug in addition to the lower gap, )I was also running Denso IT-22s back then. |

The heat from running in boost will allow the gap to open. Too much heat and the tips will melt off.
After that it will cost a motor or the (Mike Mod): ![]()

Gap them at .030 under 20 lbs of boost .028 over 20 lbs of boost with ceramic antisieze Tr-6 plugs
