Default What trans cooler to get?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what trans cooler I should get. My ta is a dd with a cam, ssf 3600 and 373s. Anyone have one or know which one Is good and cheap? I also need a trans temp sensor and gauge for my b&m deep trans pan. Thanks

I went with this one and mounted it on the front end with Mustang...I mean Corvette Scotty back in the day.

Agree w/ LXtasy. Go.to the store and get the biggest one they have. That's the one you want.

Thanks for the help. I went to autozone the other day and the biggest one they had was a torqflo supercooler and it was for class a motor homes. will that be enough or go bigger? It was torqflo supercool 611679

I prefer the Hayden coolers myself. I also run an RV cooler on my Mustang.

I'm running the largest Hayden oreillys had in stock. You are kind of limited in the mounting area so go measure and get the biggest that fits. I think mine is 11"x7" or so, its been OK with my 3200 stall with AC rolling in stop and go traffic everyday.

if you have an issue with airflow you could always mount a fan on a thermo switch,

I am about to convert a 04 cobra HE into a transcooler

hayden 403 is what i run, its medium duty, 12"x7"x3/4" and rated at 18k gvw towing 3500lbs or something like that.

I got a nice cooler from summit. Its 12x12. Ill post a link later if your interested. It was like 90$.

Factory ones from F250's and larger vehicles work good, that's what I ran for years.... and they are 5-10 bucks from you-pull-it yards....

If money is no issue get the biggest tube and plate style aftermarket one that will fit.
