Default procharger or turbo?

okay so im at the point now where i want to go with forced induction and i have found two setups for sale that cost the same. the first is a D1SC procharger kit intercooled, the second one is a on3 performance turbo kit complete with shorty headers, all the piping, 76mm turbo, tubular front suspension w/ coilovers.

im debating on which one is going to be the best option, i eventually want to be at 700+hp running meth.

Stock Block? I want to say the Procharger is going to net you alot less power than the 76mm. I would go turbo without a doubt. Had an 02 procharger stock block GT Mustang and it was 400 at the wheel.

i think hes got a built bottom end so i'd go 76mm. If the 76 comes with the on3 kit then its probably some 20yr old designed 76mm that will only make 700hp maxed out... a newer 7675 or something would let you make the power way easier...I'm actually curious as to how a 6266 would do on a 2v car.

i mean ive seen where guys were pushing 21-22lbs of boost on a 2v from the D1SC prochargers. and my motor is built with stage 3 ported heads, stage 2 bullet blower cams, and 9.5:1 dished dss pistons

whos stage 3 porting and whos spec'd out the blower cams? you CAN run a ton of boost on a 2v easily since the heads blow ass but a turbo will make retarded power on a mod motor...

go talk to the guys over on TurboForums.com about your goals... theres a TON of 1000hp mod motor guys over there...

Patriot FTL, i cant remember if their springs were worth a shit or not. i know over 8lbs or so of boost will hang the exhaust valves open with a 61mm turbo and stock springs... makes for a funny dyno graph.

theyve changed up alot of there stuff recently. i think i just like the simplicity or the procharger vs the turbo.

blowers are a huge pita in their own right as well... but if you do a blower i'd go with a NOVI2000 kit with the front mount from paxton
