Default New setup

Haven't been on here in a while! Just dropping in seeing what everyone is up to.

We should be up at Dorchester sunday with a friends car having some fun.

But since I'm not really a grudge racer I figured I would post up some new shots of the new setup.

Should be decent running! I almost have it ready to make some passes. Hopefully before the year is over!

Thanks guys. It's been a long time coming with this one. It hasn't been at a track for over a year now. Hoping for some very low 6 high 5s at the 1/8th.

We were up at the track tonight with the pos stock Laser! Saw some decent cars there tonight and met a few of you. Can't wait until this thing is ready to roll.

Looks stout. How deep is that FMIC? TRE or Shep built gear box?
E-85?

THe FMIC is a ETS core. 6" thick. Its a Shep dogbox (ppg gears). And yep she is still on corn!

Haha maybe next time it will get into 2nd gear ha! It's completely stock and we just ran our tuning software to make sure it wasn't going to blow up

is that turbo bigger than the one on my cummins diesel?

that looks HUGE.
what will it do: slow off the line and then build boost as the 4cyl builds enough exhaust pressure to spin it?

or will it spin up nice & quick?

4wd or 2?

i had a set of Blizzak snow tires, and my buddy used them on his in the winter,
and then for drag racing, they worked surprisingly well on the strip in 4wd.

With my setup I'll be about 15psi out of the hole. I use a launch control and anti-Lag which spools up the turbo.

Not sure if you guys have seen any fast Dsm's like this but I can post up some videos of some quick ones if you guys are curious to how they are at the track.

It probably makes your cummins look little actually.. Unless you swapped it out.

The turbo is rated to flow 101 lbs/min
