I fuked up and read the wrong torque for the valve cover center bolts, and right as i was saying, this sure is a lot of torque, SNAP.
anyways, if you have one laying around, let me know, i will be going to the dealership tomorrow anyways to drop off the tbss for some warranty work. now i get to practice using an e.z.out on my heads. . ![]() -Carl LS2 btw..

no, i mis-read the torque for the valley cover bolts, i thought it was valve cover bolts, but it was 18ftlbs or 216inpounds, what my manual calls it is a rocker cover, 106inchpounds. so ya, twice the torque. boom!

i just cut the bolt out that's crimped in the sleeve, then went and bought one at ace, i hate rigging shit up like this, but it was all i could find. if someone sees an ls based engine, steal a bolt off it and shoot me a PM.

Did you try to call Jamison's? I think they may have one from a used engine or two.
EDIT: just spoke with them. Nothing.
