using an Auto for an auto x, intresting... do you leave it in 2nd?

Nope; I shift 1/2. I throw it into 1st at any speed below 30mph.

While in 1st you can bounce off the revlimitter for ever. In 2nd you won't kick down to 1st or upshift to 3rd.

Nope; stock valve body. What I described is stock function for a GTO.

1 is 1st only, 2 is 2nd only, 3 is drive but if you hit rev limiter you will go into 4th, D is overdrive.

Once I get rid of the stock POS shifter I'll do a the manual version of the transgo kit.
