I have seen the same person mess up three jobs last week alone. I was so pissed off the third time I was really starting to wonder if he can read at all. Still today he has a job. I had a guy working for me in TX last year that left before the end of the shift and entered the full shifts hours into the computer. When my boss went to question him about it he was caught texting on his phone. He admitted all of this and just got chewed out. That was the first time I have ever heard of a company not firing someone for time card falsification. As of a couple of months ago this clown still worked for Boeing the guy probably still does I just haven't been looking for him. I could understand if either person was a really good mechanic allowing them a slip here or there. The only thing to chalk it up to is who the person is actually employed by. There are a few things that Boeing will walk you out for, but they do put up with a lot of shit that other places would fire you for on the spot.
Now for contractors you are in a completely different category. I have seen contractors get fired for things that you wouldn't even get a verbal reprimand for as a blue badge. I know this isn't something comforting to you, but it is what it is. I do think from your side that is probably the situation. On a side note I know of two people that got fired as contractors and still work there today. One of the guys got hired back as a blue badge after getting fired as a contractor TWICE before and the other the works for the same contract company he has been fired from once before.

This is what irritates me, I keep hearing stories like this, and I keep wondering how these people get the jobs, and I can't even get a damn interview there.

No lie. I have applied for numerous jobs out there. I don't even get much of a phone call or "thank you kiss my ass" email. It is cool though. I heard a lot of those people that work there are premadonna's and complain that work is "hard". lol

How about actually getting hired (through readysc program and temp agency for probation period), waiting almost a year to start, being the best in your training class and then getting fired for asking a question about attendance policy? They don't care about getting quality personnel there, they just want sheep willing to work for low pay.

I have aircraft and manufacturing experience, btw.
